Air fry for ten minutes, turning each piece half way.

Hint: Do not overcrowd. Create some space in between and don't overlap.

    Variations

Feel free to change up the recipe to suit your preferences. Here are a few easy modifications you can try:

    • Experiment with various seasonings to elevate the flavor of your pasta chips. Try options like Italian seasoning or chili flakes for a burst of spice.
    • Make it gluten-free using pasta made from rice flour or chickpeas.
    • Try other pasta shapes. We like to use bowtie pasta but different shapes like rigatoni pasta or penne work well too.

    Tips

Top tip: To make pasta chips in the air fryer, place pasta in a single later with some space in between.

    • Use dried or slightly undercooked pasta for better results. The texture of the pasta plays a crucial role in achieving the perfect crunchiness of pasta chips. Using dried or slightly undercooked pasta ensures it doesn't become too soft during cooking.
    • Ensure the pasta is well-coated with oil before cooking. Coating the pasta evenly with oil helps in enhancing its flavor and aids in achieving a crispy texture. Make sure to toss the pasta thoroughly with oil before baking or air frying.

    Serving suggestions

These crispy and flavorful chips can be served in various ways, making them versatile and perfect for any occasion. Our favorite is to pair them with a dipping sauce such as no-cook pizza sauce, salsa, or hummus.

Enjoy as a standalone snack during movie nights or gatherings. The crispy texture and savory taste make them perfect for munching on while watching your favorite films or spending time with friends.

They make a perfect side to sandwiches or salads to add an extra crunch and burst of flavor. You can also use them as a topping for soups or casseroles to enhance the texture and bring a delightful twist to your dishes.

    Storage

Store pasta chips in an airtight container to maintain crispness. After making delicious pasta chips, store them properly to maintain their crispness and prevent them from becoming stale. Transfer them into an airtight container once they have cooled down completely.

These were so good! I brought the regular and the italian seasoning variations to a party, and everyone was so obsessed with them. So many people talked about how unique and delicious they are, and I totally agree! I can't wait to make another batch all for myself!
