Heat the olive oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and garlic. Stir-fry until the meat has browned, 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
Stir in the green beans and soy sauce. Reduce the heat to medium and cover until the green beans are heated and tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove the lid and stir-fry for 1 or 2 minutes more.
Notes
The recipe can be doubled with some chopped cab- bage, onions, and tomato added along with more meat and seasonings to make plenty of servings. Sprinkle on some red pepper flakes for an added spice kick.
