Ingredients

  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1 tea bag Tazo Passion Herbal Tea
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons sliced strawberries
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (or preferred sweetener) adjust to taste
  • ice

Instructions

  • Boil the water and steep the tea bag in it for several minutes.
  • Remove the tea bag and let the liquid cool.
  • Mix coconut milk into the cooled tea.
  • Stir in the vanilla and sugar to taste.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice and the sliced strawberries.
  • Pour the tea mixture over the ice in the glass.
  • Garnish with additional strawberry slices if desired.

Notes

Real coconut milk has fats that will separate into small lumps when poured into ice due to solidifying in the colder temperature. This is normal and is not a sign that the coconut milk is bad. This does not happen with the pink drink sold at Starbucks because they do not use real coconut milk.
