Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup coffee beans coarsely ground

Instructions

  • Grind the coffee beans to a coarse grind.
  • Add the required grounds to your French press and the cold water.
  • Allow the mixture to steep for 12 to 24 hours.
  • To serve, dilute the concentrate with cold water or milk to taste. Add ice and any desired sweetener or flavorings, such as vanilla or caramel syrup.

Notes

Always use high-quality whole coffee beans that are roasted to medium or dark.
Freshly grind the coffee beans to a coarse grind just before using them. Grinding your beans ensures they stay as fresh as possible and that your cold brew will be full of flavor.
Use filtered water instead of tap water for the best flavor.
