  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  • Get your pizza dough ready to receive the toppings.
  • With a spoon, spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base evenly.
  • Add the toppings: carne asada pieces, a drizzle of olive oil, tomato cubes, cheese, chili pepper and oregano.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, drizzle the desired amount of tamarindo sauce and sprinkle fresh cilantro leaves. Serve immediately.

Notes

Try prebaking the crust in a hot oven before adding the sauce and toppings. This will help create a crispier crust texture.
Add just the right amount of sauce. This is key to making the perfect pizza. Too much will make it soggy while too little won't provide enough flavor.
Use parchment paper. Lining your pan with parchment paper will make it slide right off the pan!
