Pre-heat Air Fryer at 370°F (188·C). Set at 10 minutes.
Season cut bite-sized salmon pieces with garlic and black pepper. Slightly season with salt, if using.
Wrap each seasoned bite-sized salmon with bacon. Secure end of bacon with toothpicks.
Combine honey and Worcestershire sauce with soy sauce. Dip each bite in soy sauce mixture. Opt to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer onto Air Fryer tray. Do not overcrowd.
Slowly insert Air Fryer tray into the middle cooking chamber, near the rotisserie catch.
Turn each bacon-wrapped salmon after 4 to 5 minutes. No need to wait for the “turn food” reminder provided by the Air Fryer. Slightly baste salmon bites with the remaining soy sauce mixture.
Return the Air Fryer tray into the middle cooking chamber. Timer should read at 5 minutes remaining. See tips or notes when closing the Air Fryer door.
Wait for the timer to end and the Air Fryer to stop before opening the oven door or once salmon bites are fully cooked and golden in color, press “cancel” from the Air Fryer settings.
Notes
This recipe was tested using an Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven. Not all Air Fryers cook the same way. It’s best to keep watch during your initial tests after purchasing. If you do not close the door while seasoning pieces, the Air Fryer temperate might change. 10 to 20 seconds before returning the salmon bites into the Air Fryer, close the door to resume heating up the cooking chamber.TIPS: Salt is optional if you marinate the bacon-wrapped salmon for over 15 minutes. These salmon bites can become salty if marinated for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Due to the soy sauce and honey mixture, monitor the last 5 minutes to avoid burnt marks in bacon.
