Ingredients
2plum tomatoes
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoondried basil
1small garlic clove
⅛tablespoonchili flakes
½tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
Pinchof salt
Instructions
Seed and cube the tomatoes.
Blend all of the ingredients together with a hand blender or food processor until smooth.
Spread in your single-serving pizza base.
Notes
If you have fresh basil and or oregano, those are preferred over dried herbs.The tomatoes can be cooked down on the stove until they are soft and then mash them or blend them. Or, they can be roasted in the toaster oven for a more robust flavor.Either fresh or dried chopped onions can be mixed in, if desired.
