Sloppy Joe Casserole

This casserole is pure comfort on a plate.

It's topped with cheesy goodness!

INGREDIENTS ice milk vanilla bean ice cream vanilla extract sugar

Add ground beef to a large skillet drizzled with oil and cook on medium-high heat, stirring frequently.

Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat.

Add tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and salt.

Stir to combine.

Simmer mixture, stirring frequently, until it comes to a boil.

Spread half the frozen hash brown potatoes in a single layer on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Spread the beef mixture evenly over the potatoes, then sprinkle a half cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Layer the remaining hash browns on over the beef mixture.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly over the top.

Bake for about a half hour, or until the cheese is melted and it is lightly browned.
