Easy Beef Stew

Try this simple dish for a satisfying meal!

It tastes even better the next day.

INGREDIENTS: beef chuck or round salt and pepper olive oil onion celery garlic all-purpose flour tomato paste red wine chicken broth thyme bay leaf red potatoes carrots peas

Cook beef until browned on both sides.

Cook onion and celery until softened. Stir in garlic and cook. Mix in flour and stir until lightly browned.

Add tomato paste

Pour in the red wine.

Pour in chicken broth.

Add potatoes, thyme, bay leaf, browned beef, and carrots.

Simmer then reduce heat, cover, and slow cook. Remove bay leaf and add peas.

Cover pot and let sit for about five minutes. Remove cover and season with salt and pepper to taste.
